• Learning Fun Facts About Breeds, Coloring, Etc. of Horses
Check in is at 5:30 pm followed by dinner at 6 pm on the day of your event. On departure day, the event will conclude at 4 pm. Troops will stay in warm cabins with private bathrooms and showers. Depending on troop sizes, you may have a cabin to yourself or you may share with another troop. Please let us know of any dietary needs a week prior to camp starting (gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian). We can accommodate these, but cannot guarantee cross contamination, so feel free to bring your own food if you need to. We will have a fridge/freezer to store items in as well as a microwave to heat up anything. All Scouts will have fun on a tractor ride, the big swing and also a campfire with smores :)
Your younger and older scouts WILL be put into separate riding groups and rotations. 3rd graders and younger will have an arena ride while 4th graders and up will venture out on a trail. Everyone will have a go on the Big Swing, Groom/Saddle, make a craft and have a tractor ride. Also, depending on the size of various troops, you may be put into different cabins. Rest assured, there will always be two adult leaders in one cabin along with 8-10 scouts. If you feel like you need to register more than two adult leaders, you need to call the office at 360-686-3737 to prearrange that with Jessica.
