Horse Handling and Communication Lessons
Work from the ground up and learn how to more effectively communicate and work with horses using natural communication and training techniques. Instruction given on safe handling techniques, moving horses more effectively from the ground as well as in the saddle and more. A step-by-step progressive process is followed that can be used with any horse to get a more productive mount. Must be at least 13 years of age and previous riding experience required.
Cowpoke Group Lesson
Designed for ages 4-7. These young horse lovers learn safety and confidence around horses including leading, grooming and basic riding skills. Classes will begin unmounted and progress towards mounted. Lesson includes 20-minute ride time, horse science and Fellowship time. Adult person (over 18 years of age) required participation at every lesson.
Beginning/ Beginning Intermediate Horsemanship Lessons
Learn basic horse safety and confidence and progress your skills as a rider and working knowledge of horses. Ages 8-14 and includes 45 minute ride time, horse science and Fellowship time. Classes are a two-hour time block.
Intermediate/Advanced Horsemanship Lessons
Expand on your skills as a horseman and advance towards connection and relationship with the horse. Focus on improving your skills and testing your knowledge. All ages, classes include 45-minute ride time, horse science, ground skills and Fellowship time.
Adult Lessons
Ages 15 and over. Work on the skills you need to become a safe and competent horse lover. Expand on existing knowledge or begin your horse-riding career. Classes include 45-minute ride time and short fellowship time, arrive 15 minutes before lesson to saddle up.
Home School Program
Work on riding skills, horse science and Fellowship time designed to meet your needs for school credit or personal interest. Two hour time block.
Private or Semi Private Lessons
Tailor the lesson to your specific needs and interests. Work with the instructor to structure a curriculum that is right for you. All ages- 45-minute ride time, horse science and Fellowship time included.
