Instructor Intern: Work to Become a Nationally Recognized Certified Instructor
Interested in instructing others in your future? Get the opportunity to be involved in the current programs and learn how to be a skilled assistant while getting experience in the curriculum. Earn hours and experience towards your instructor certification and work towards becoming a CHA Certified Instructor! Upon completion of the program, instructors will be eligible to complete a CHA Clinic for certification. Clinics may be provided on site to attend.
Certified Horsemanship Association certified instructors, a beautiful ranch type setting, an existing lesson, retreat and camping program as well as up to 30 horses or more provide a rich and valuable learning environment for interns.

Must be at least 16 years of age with basic horse handling and riding experience.

Have a desire to teach and work with youth and adults and be available at least four hours a week during lesson days and some weekends.

Youth Intern

For the experienced volunteer desiring more in the program with horses. Get a project horse and be responsible for working with that horse on a weekly basis. Focus on horse health and schooling to expand your knowledge and expertise around horses.
