Royal Ridges Summer Camp Programs
                                      
Campers can choose from a variety of programs tailored to fit kids grades 1 through 12.  All our programs are designed to be safe, challenging, and fun at any grade level.  All camps are on a first come first serve basis. Camps run June through August. Camp descriptions, and pricing are shown below.

Add an Elective to your camp and take your adventure to the next level of fun!  Electives are available with the Day Camps, Resident Horse Camps, Resident Adventure Camps and RR camps

Camp fees include a 5x7 group photo which will be sent home at the end of the week.

Day Camps  

  Day Camp      For kids going into 1st - 6th grades

You won't want to miss this opportunity !  So grab a friend, a sack lunch, and prepare for an experience of a life time. Campers will have a recreational and educational experience participating in Camp songs, Bible stories, nature hikes, hay rack rides, and swimming.  Also included: riding horses, climbing the wall, visiting our petting zoo, riding Mountain Boards and many more exciting activities.

Camp cost:  $ 100     ($50.00 deposit required)

  Day Horse Camp   For kids 8 - 12 years of age  

This program was made for those young, horse-crazy,
first-timer's, and once a year riders. At Day Horse Camp, campers will  learn how to be safe, groom, tack, ride, respect and love the horses that God created. Campers will participate in riding lessons, horse science, Bible studies and many other activities. Day Horse Camp is a great way to start learning about horses and a good preparation camp for a future Resident Horse Camp.

Are you looking for a place to learn how to ride horses, enjoy cabin life, meet new friends, go on trail rides, or maybe even roast a smore or two?  Well, look no further, Resident Horsemanship Camp is perfect for you. This is a way to experience what God has given us in the setting of the awesome outdoors.










 

 

Come, join us for one exciting, fun filled week full of riding lessons, trail rides, horse science,   Bible studies, campfires, evening activities, and so much more. Earn you horsemanship certificate as you learn from our certified instructors.  You'll even get a chance to show off your riding skills  for your parents, friends and family at our Showdeo on Saturday morning.

Camp starts at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday and ends Saturday morning.  A BBQ for parents and friends follows the "Showdeo." @11AM
Girls only: Junior: grades 4 - 6,  Jr High : grades 6-9 Senior: grades 7- 12,  Junior /Senior combination or "ALL Girls" grades 4-12.

 Adventure Camps                      Electives available

  Are you ready to hop on an extreme adventure? We've got the camp for you!!  Adventure Camp
  is designed to take you to the extreme physically and spiritually. Each adventure is designed to
  stretch your limits and show you more of what it means to trust God.  Challenge yourself by
  hanging out on the High Ropes, solving Low Ropes elements, seeing how high you can go on
  the Climbing Wall, zooming down the Mountain Board Course, and more. Each week we have
  different adventures planned to take your breath away. These camps are Coed.  Select your favorite                                                 activity, then join us for a week of extreme adventure.

    Water Tubing Week     
 
For campers going into 7th - 12th grades

This week is for those who love to be on the lake. You'll love the tubes! You will have two days of fun on the lake with experienced drivers and instructors. Get ready to strap on some fun!

 

  Rafting week
  For campers going into 7th - 12th grades

Ready for some White Water fun? Hop on this trip for a sweet ride down the Deschutes River. Hit rapids like, Boxcar, Elevator, and Oak Springs. Learn how to paddle a raft and work together as a team. And, the best part about it is the Fun! So, gear up for a great day in the sun.

NEW YEAR!!  Rock Climbing and Repelling at HORSE THIEF PARK!!!

 

Junior Adventure Camp
  For campers going into 4th - 6th grades

Have you been waiting for the time when you're old enough to go to Adventure Camp?  Now  is the time!! Come to Junior Adventure Camp and participate in a lot of the activities that the BIG KIDS  get to do... spend a night "under the stars," work as a team on the low ropes course elements, climb the climbing wall and maybe even get to try you hand a cooking over a campfire!  You won't want to miss this camp!

THIS YEAR girls DO NOT mix with Horse Camp!!! It is all yours!!!  Limited enrollment.  You will love the blend of Horse Camp, Adventure Camp and just being a camper.  Like to ride horses, but want more Adventure?  Like to be challenged... but not really that athletic?   A little goes a long way with you?  Would you rather discuss the challenges of being a kid in today's world  rather than taking the challenge of another route up the climbing wall?  Or  maybe you just want to spend a week at a GREAT CAMP!  Try this one, you'll like it!

As an elective to the Day Camp your child selects, they can
add our Overnight Blast for additional fun and adventure.

 

 

Overnight Blast  
Add an Overnight experience for Day Campers. A great opportunity to see what an overnight camp is like. Experience group meals, Evening activities, a Camp fire, Smores, Sleeping in a tent and more.  So, bring your sleeping bag for a night of fun.  Dinner, snack, breakfast, and a sack lunch are provided.

Therapeutic Riding

Recreational Therapeutic Riding provides sports riding for children and adults with physical and cognitive challenges.  Utilizing the unique qualities of the horse, our  riders are overcoming limitations, leaving wheelchairs and fears behind.    These classes improve physical health, provide a sense of accomplishment and build
self-esteem.

RRR is a Member Center of NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association)
